1965-66 BATTERY RETAINING CLAMP, - 55/65 Amp Battery

This is an original style battery clamp that secures the bottom mounting foot of your early Mustang’s battery to the battery tray. Unlike later “over-the-top” clamps, this particular clamp works with a small lip molded into the bottom edge of an OEM style battery. Includes the clamp plate only. Use with #10756A clamp bolt (available separately, see link below). 

This parts fits:

• 1965-66 Mustang with OEM style 55 or 65 amp battery*
• 1960-65 Falcon/Comet with OEM style 55 or 65 amp battery*
• 1966-70 Falcon 200/289 with OEM style 55 or 65 amp battery*

*NOTE: This clamp must be used with an OEM style battery featuring a molded-in mounting “foot” at the base of the battery case. If your 1965-66 Mustang’s battery does not have this mounting foot, you will need to upgrade to a later style battery tray designed to use an “over-the-top” clamp with “J” bolts (see BTK3 kit
