It's easy and economical to add or replace the glove box lamp assembly in your 1965-66 Mustang. This is the bulb socket and activation switch, and includes the short power wire with OEM style bullet connector. Basically, this is the whole glove box lamp assembly, less the light bulb. Original style "push-in" base fits a grounded 19/32" hole in the dash panel. Bulb and complete lamp assembly are available separately (see links below).
Note: Can be made to work in other cars. All it needs is a 19/32" grounded hole, and a 12v source to plug into.
